The lower foyer of the Helsinki Music Centre will be filled with a diverse mix of art by students of Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition will feature paintings, photographic works, graphics and video art by degree and exchange students as well as recent graduates. The featured works will be available for purchase, and the artists will be paid the full selling price. The sold artworks can be picked up from the Helsinki Music Centre on 11 July.

The featured works have been selected by visual artist Marko Vuokola based on an open call.

Photo: The conceptual artwork “3 euroa 10 senttiä” (3 euros and 10 cents) by Tuomas Linna highlights the problems of money and consuming and provides sharp insight into stereotypes about artistry. It is one of the artworks available for sale in the exhibition.
